Chester
So since Max was born I have been on the hunt for a special toy or blanket for him. Something that will bring him comfort and smiles. I didn't know exactly what I wanted, but I knew I would recognize it as soon as I saw it. I've been at a few toy stores and have come across some real cute stuffed animals. I'd pick them up, no-this one is too soft, or too rough etc. But while we were in Orange County, I came across Liam's stuff animal. His name was Brown Bear. At that moment I knew that I had to have one for Max. So we made the trek to Build-a-Bear. For those who don't know, its a cute little store that lets you, well, build a bear. We went inside, found the outside of the bear we wanted, and began the process of building Chester. We got to fill Chester with two hearts, from his mom and dad, filled with our love and wishes. I know cheesy, but so cute.

Keep and eye out for Chester, he is known for making appearances here and there.
ABC's, just for fun.
my ABC's.
Age: 34
Bed size: Queen
Chore you hate: emptying the dishwasher, cleaning the toilet and taking out the garbage. Was I suppose to only pick one?
Dogs: I grew up with a black mutt, who my father named Bubba. Then I had my beloved Chihuahua, named Cinnamon. She lived 15 long years, and now we have Ozmond Bigglesworth. He is a puggle and is awesome!
Essential start of your day: My hubby comes and grabs Max every morning at 7:00am and gives me two hours of extra sleep. Then I awake to breakfast made for me, usually my favorite, blueberry pancakes.
Favorite color: Black, that's a color right?
Gold or silver: I used to love gold, then I was strictly a silver girl. Now I have come to a happy place where I like both.
Height: 4'11 and a half
Instruments I play (or have played): I played the violin when I was young. I attempted guitar, but gave up pretty quickly.
Job title: Clearing of the throat...A mom! Love saying that.
Kids: I guess. :) A darling little boy, Maxwell.
Live: Seattle, WA
Mom's name: Gina, my parents were really creative when naming me.
Nickname: Oh, there are lots. Bong, Bongy, Peanut, Beaner, Rama, Booger
Overnight hospital stays: C-Section. Two nights.
Pet peeve: Any noise that comes from the mouth. I am working on being tolerant :), I am.
Quote from a movie: "Who's it late for" "We will always go out dancing", "Hello Lover" (from a sitcom), and too many others that escape me now.
Right or left handed: Choose the RIGHT!
Siblings: None by blood, but two by choice :)
Time you wake up: hmmmm, hard to say when I am up every few hours with my boy.
Underwear: Yes, please.
Vegetables you dislike: beets
What makes you run late: poopy or wet diapers.
X-rays you've had done: Teeth.
Yummy food you make: I'm working on that lately. I make a decent lemongrass chicken, enchiladas, pasta bakes, and usually anything that comes in a bag or box.
Zoo animal: I like sea otters. I haven't gone to the zoo much so I am sort of at a loss, but I have a feeling that will change soon.

Auburn, CA
This weekend we wanted to go some where, but no where too far. We choose to go to Auburn. Rob had been before and said it was a cute little gold rush town. So off we went.
Even Oz made it on this trip.
We started off our day at a local creperie in our neighborhood. It was pretty tasty.

Just a little babbling
Here's a video of Max sneezing, and babbling about. Not sure why the quality isn't so hot, I am working on it :)
San Diego's Coronado Island
Orange County
So while we are in California, we are trying to take advantage of it and do and see things we normally don't get to. One of those things are visiting our friends Mary and Jake. They have three sweet little ones that we got to hang out with for five days. We attended Liam's birthday, went to Dylan's soccer game, hung out at Laguna, and Newport Beach, went to a huge wine shop for Rob, and I even got to fit in a little shopping.
Here are some more pictures of our adventure.....
Prepare your self, there are many!
