DECEMBER!!!!!

We love this time of year!

Christmas is a few short weeks away.  We started our festivities with the Christmas tree lighting downtown, so next on our list was meeting Santa.  Max did so good.  I think Santa was more scared of Max than, Max of Santa.  We are loving these "firsts" moments with Max.  Although I cant wait till he is old enough to understand who Santa is and magic Christmas holds.

Is that Rudolf, Dad?

5 MONTHS!

Max is growing like a weed.  He is putting all sorts of things in his mouth and exploring.  He has even tried prunes, which he liked.  I am excited to see what else he will like.  I think he will be a good eater.  I can see the excitement in his face when I bring out his baby spoon.  Max isn't sitting up on his own yet, but he loves to be seated so he can see what is going on around him.  He bounces in his jumper with such excitement, its so fun to watch. And I think my most favorite, is he is just starting to reach up to me when I go to grab him.  I love that!

Sophie tastes good

on the Christmas carousel.  This made mama pretty dizzy. Not as fun as I remember :)

He loves to sleep with Chester.  I love seeing that.  He grabs on to him and holds on to him
through most of the night.

NAKKKED! I bet he will hate this picture when he is older

Gobble Gobble

Thanksgiving this year was extra special.  It was Max's first Thanksgiving, and of course, our first Thanksgiving as parents.  This year, undoubtedly has been filled with things that make us hugely thankful.  It is hard to imagine that life can get any better than this.

As tradition, Ozzie gets his own Thanksgiving plate.
We must start with a bib...

wait for it...

Hope you all had an amazing Thanksgiving!!!

A walk in the park

We went on the a walk the other day, because one, it wasn't raining, and two, we wanted to view all the wonderful multi-colored fall leaves.  Like I said, Seattle has given us quite the eye candy this fall.

Oh Seattle......

Although I love Seattle and the Pacific Northwest, its days like this that make me miss California.  For memory sake, I thought I'd post some pictures of the California sun.  These were taken about a week or two before we left.

But like I said, Seattle still holds a permanent place in my heart.
The fall here has been beautiful!

bouncy bouncy

This is for you Gramps.  Notice the cutting board under him, gives the shortcake a little more height :)

Cheese Please

This past weekend, Rob and I threw a Cheese Party.  It was real fun.  He hadn't thrown a party in awhile so we thought it was a good idea and that way we could see our friends that we had been missing while in Cali.
