Three months old

Our little addition is growing, growing.

story time

Here are some random shots....

Santa Cruz

Since arriving in California it feels we have been non stop moving.  This weekend we spent time in LA with the Case Family (pics to come).  We have been so busy, I haven't been able to update the blog with all our pictures.

So, to back track....When Merry and Jeff were here, we hit San Fran, but we also hit up Santa Cruz.  Here are some pictures from that adventure.

We walked the boardwalk, the boys played on their long boards, ate fried Twinkies and Oreos (delish).  It was a great time.

Oldies but goodies

I was playing around with Rob's phone and found some pictures I hadn't seen. They were taken on Max's arrival day.  I am posting them now, so I don't forget any moments that now seem so long ago.

Hello world

And we are spent!

going home.

I am so glad I ran into these pictures.  Even though it was only three months ago, it feels like a lifetime.  Its hard to remember my life before Max was here.  These last three months have been wonderful and he has brought so much joy to my life!  Everyday I am thankful for my life and all the many treasures it holds.

more San Francisco

Here are some more pictures of our adventure.....
We went to the Academy of Science, which was super cool.  We learned of it because Rob's company polished the concrete there.  It has a huge aquarium and indoor rainforest.  There was also Peguins and a planetarium.  It is a must see and I recommend going.  Oh yeah, the concrete looked pretty nice too. :0)

Max eyeballin' the fishes

Merry touching the star fish. Don't let the calm look fool you,
she was scared to do it. :)

We left our hearts in San Francisco

Merry and Jeff came down to California for an extended weekend and we were so happy to show them around.  Our first stop on our adventure was San Fran!

I booked our hotel from Expedia because it was near Union Square, which I knew was safe.  What I didn't know, was although we were indeed close to Union Square, we were right on the fringes of the Tenderloin.  Which by its name alone indicates some sketchiness.  It turned out fine and pretty central.  We had a great time.

On our adventure we went to Max's for lunch.  It was a cute little diner, where we all ate a little too much.  Can you see the fourth person in the booth?

Then it was off to the Golden Gate Bridge.  We were hoping the fog would burn off, but it didnt.  Clearly I was dressed for warmer weather.  I was freezing.
