Gobble Gobble

Thanksgiving this year was extra special.  It was Max's first Thanksgiving, and of course, our first Thanksgiving as parents.  This year, undoubtedly has been filled with things that make us hugely thankful.  It is hard to imagine that life can get any better than this.

As tradition, Ozzie gets his own Thanksgiving plate.
We must start with a bib...

wait for it...

"delish, was there cayenne in those potatoes?"

The shirt says it all

Dessert??

Hope you all had an amazing Thanksgiving!!!

A walk in the park

We went on the a walk the other day, because one, it wasn't raining, and two, we wanted to view all the wonderful multi-colored fall leaves.  Like I said, Seattle has given us quite the eye candy this fall.

Oh Seattle......

Although I love Seattle and the Pacific Northwest, its days like this that make me miss California.  For memory sake, I thought I'd post some pictures of the California sun.  These were taken about a week or two before we left.

But like I said, Seattle still holds a permanent place in my heart.
The fall here has been beautiful!

bouncy bouncy

This is for you Gramps.  Notice the cutting board under him, gives the shortcake a little more height :)

Cheese Please

This past weekend, Rob and I threw a Cheese Party.  It was real fun.  He hadn't thrown a party in awhile so we thought it was a good idea and that way we could see our friends that we had been missing while in Cali.

First taste

Max had his first real taste of food today.  We of course have given little tastes of things before, but today was the first time we sat down, used a spoon and ate.  He seemed to like it.  He has been showing interest lately, watching me and daddy very intently while we eat or drink.  I guess that is how you know its time. If he is anything like Rob or I, he is going to be an eating machine.

ummmmmm???

Ewww, What is that?

Ok wait, let me try...

not too bad.

"I want some"!!!

I think I like it :)

SUCCESS!

Doctor visit!

Max had his four month check this week.  So far he likes the pediatrician, but doesn't so much like the shots.  I hate seeing him in pain like that.  With so much debate over vaccinations, I worry about making the right decision.  Watching him cry in pain doesn't help matters either.  But alas, he got his two shots.  He only cried for a few minutes and went on sucking his thumb like nothing happened :)

Max is 18.6 pounds (90%), his head however is still large ( just like daddy), which is in the 95%!

chillin' in the waiting room
