A little something for Grandpa!

This is a little preview for Grandpa.
I just need to find the perfect outfit for him for the game in June!!!

Hurry up and get here Grandpa!!!!

There is the sweetest cafe in Queen Anne named Twirl. It is the cutest concept.  You go in, order some food and then let your little one in to the play area where they can go explore and meet other little ones.  Rob and I ate some yummy Mac & Cheese and a few sugar cookies.  A pretty fabulous day!

Who loves swingin'?

Play Time!!

On Tuesday Max and I went to our very first play area.  I held off thinking he was too young, but I guess that was wishful thinking.  He loved it.  He was so intrigued by all the running kids. He even met a little girl, and they swapped gummy smiles.

I am excited to start taking him to places around town so that he can explore and play with other little kids.

More pictures to come for sure :)

7 months.....

So, I am a bad mama! Max is one week away from being 8 months and I have still haven't posted his 7 month picture update :(

Honestly it was pure laziness on my part. And I am comfortable with taking the blame.  I never got around to buying him bigger onesies, and that is why he is in a grey one....bad mama! But anyways, Max is healthy and the most happiest baby.

He brings so many smiles to us on a daily basis.

evidence of his three shots :(

a glorious reunion....

So while we were away in Vermont, my sweet husband finally decided it was time to call a professional.

He broke down and hired a contractor to finish our bathroom.  The anticipation was huge and we were not disappointed.  Here are some pictures to show its awesomeness.  I really wish I had pictures of our old bathroom so that you can compare it to what we had, but sadly we do not.  Trust me when I say, it was..... hideous :)

wait for it.......

TA DA!!!
This was once just a plain, sad pillar.
We had it cut down and sanding to expose the Douglas Fir that
was original to the building.

new sinks, new vanity, new mirrors...oh my!

new tile and shower doors :)

and of course a picture of Max

someone may need a nap......

This is one of Max's new favorite things to do.  he loves climbing things and then laughs at himself.  However today, since he was refusing a nap, he was really, really tired.  You can see at the end of this video it doesn't take much to have a little melt down.

Max seems to be changing at lightening speed.  He went in for his 7 month check up (with our new pediatrician, whom we really like), where he got caught up on his vaccines and was weighed.  He is now 22 pounds.

Since learning to crawl he has been no stop moving.  He loves to climb up...EVERYTHING. Especially mama.  He does get a little scared getting back on the ground once he has pulled his way up, but he is learning. His two little bottom teeth are still making their way out, and are so stinkin' cute. And lastly, he is constantly babbling, da da.  I know it isn't really directed towards daddy, but I gotta admit, I am a little jealous is isn't ma ma.

He is loving being in the cart

check it out!

Well we made it back to Seattle safe and sound. Vermont was great and we had some amazing adventures.  Now its time to get back on West Coast time, visit with our very much missed friends and settle back into our routines.
