Hotel de Glace

So this might be one of the coolest places we have been.  It is a must see and definitely one that we get to cross off our bucket list.  This hotel is only open for three months out of the year, starting in January.  Apparently it is model from the ice hotel in Switzerland.  Rooms start out at $200.00 per person. (yes, people do stay the night here, although I have no idea why) Also, it is a popular place to get married.  The details in this hotel is amazing.  Pictures do not do it justice.

Oh Canada......Bonjour!

This weekend we made our trek up to Quebec City.  It is about a five hour drive from Warren.  We weren't really sure what to expect but we had heard great things.

They were right, Quebec City was awesome.  We felt as if we were right back in Paris.  Yummy cafes with delicious pastries!  We also happened to be there on the opening weekend of their winter carnival.  This was a great coincidence.  Their winter carnival is no joke! They had toboggan rides, an amusement park, sleigh rides, dog sled races, ice carvings, yummy treats, and so much more! It was so fun!

We will definitely be coming again! It was so cute seeing all the little kids running around and be pulled by their parents in their sleds.  Max is definitely going to have a blast next year!!
